Artist/Maker: W.B. & Company, England. Quoting a respectable British auctioneer, "I have never seen anything like this set. It is truly unusual." The fishing set has a wide knife and fork, which are made of sterling silver and have elegant horn handles that are topped by a sterling silver golf balls. This set was made c. 1890 and comes in its original box. Boxed, it measures 14" x 4.5." The engraving on the utensils is quite ornate and of the typical golfer of the day. This historical set came from the prestigious collection of Mike Roseto of Carmel, California. This is an incredible set.
